*This is what I would do if I was the president of America:*
If I was the president of America, there would be major changes in
everything. I would stop people who claim to be “sick” and claim to be
“unable” to work by removing the unemployment office. I know that there are
people who really do need the unemployment office, but the majority don’t
and they are just living off the government. No American should be lazy and
each and every single one of them should have a job. Even if a person has
cancer they can still work, or even if a person has a disability (yet
excluding some major disabilities) they can still work. All they have to do
is to get a job at Goodwill. For gods sake, no wonder why so many countries
hate the Americans! Most of us are lazy asses (mind my language I just hate
it when other countries stereotype all Americans as fat and lazy…. And a
few others that will be explained in a later note).
I would legalize some drugs that are not as harmful as other because
in the United States there are way too many people who are being arrested,
and I believe that if we legalize drugs then we would take away all of the
drug cartel’s power and money. I would legalize gay marriage because
America is all about freedom, equality, and justice. I would also make the
driving age to 15, the drinking/smoking age 18, and the age to gamble would
be 20. I would bring up the gambling age because many people have an
addiction to it and many people abuse it. I believe if the age is older,
people would be a lot more wise and they would not waste their money on
gambling.
If I was the president of America I would try to make peace with the
other countries, and I would try to stop all the war. I really hate all the
hate we breed for each other, and maybe if we just talked it out in a
non-violent way we could find the peace in the world we all live in. Nobody
needs to die, over what other people believe is wrong and what other people
believe is right. I know that people in the United States are not perfect,
but the same goes for people in other countries.
America can prosper, grow, and develop into even a better country, but
all we have to do is believe, work hard, and have hope. America was created
by hard work and labor, not making other people doing the work for us. I
believe that people just had forgotten about how America was created in the
first place, and all we need to do, is to become one united country showing
we are not lazy, we are not dumb, we are not fat, and that we are not
sleazy. That’s what people have stereotyped us after seeing shows like
“Jersey Shore,” “Teen Mom,” and “16 and Pregnant.” However, not every
single teenager is dumb, rude, and sleazy. It’s just that is what people
focus on instead. It’s sick, degrading, and rude. The people from “Jersey
Shore” are not even American, they are Italian! The television programs “16
and Pregnant” and “Teen Mom” are showing people who were stupid enough to
even have sex, and all reality not every single American teenager is
getting it on. It’s just the ones doing it, are the loudest.
If I was the president of America I would try to make this country the
best it could ever be. I would stop sex trafficking by adding more security
to buildings, streets, and even homes. I would bring down the homeless rate
in America by creating more homeless shelters and I would even create jobs
that a homeless person could get. I would also lower the crime rate by
increasing jail and prison time for people. I would try my hardest to make
this country prosper as much as it possibly can.
If I was president I would help the AIDS foundation by putting some of
the taxes towards finding a cure. No one deserves to have AIDS and most of
the people who have gotten AIDS were from being raped or they were born
that way. I would also put some taxes towards research for being able to
recycle all plastics and trying to make the world a more safe and green
place. I would also would like to put some of the taxes towards research in
NASA so they can complete and start even more investigations about space
and other planets. Maybe we might be able to find a new planet that is just
like Earth, so we can have half of the worlds population here and some over
on the other planet. This country and this world can all grow together. All
we have to do is believe in each other.
Thank you for reading my “If I was president” paper. I would always
work as hard as I could possibly can. I just absolutely hate it when I see
so many people living off of the government when they can work, but they
just choose not to. I just hope that my paper changes the way people think,
believe, and act. However, it most likely will not because no matter how
much you try, you would need more than one person to make a difference
(politic wise).
